After watching the game on Sunday night, I was surfing the net when I looked up to see my first ship the USS Midway CV-41, on the tube. It definitely caught my eye; I was riveted momentarily when I saw an F-4N Phantom II in the background. I admit to being amused realizing it was American Idol. My last aircraft, my first ship and my latest novel named for the same battle (VENGEANCE; at Midway and Guadalcanal). I didn’t expect that! Check it out below:
